The White Lion - Bristol

Good, but not great, a decent experience overall, but we had a few problems. the main problem was that we had to send a steak back. extra for the “larger” sirloin steak option with the surf turf, but it was more like a thin bratsteak and totally not the additional cost worth, plus it was medium well not medium-heavy cooked. Polite staff, nice manager, etc. I never had to send a steak back. also (not their fault) as they are probably bound to a certain brewery, but they only have old man pumps ale, nothing modern. the best you have at the front are doses of punk ipa. this is vague ok. please explore one of many bristol breweries and sell them at least one dose of them: arbor, wicker true, left handed giant, new bristol brewery, fierce noble, moor etc.

Beautiful atmosphere and the personal are so welcoming and friendly. has come to the chef and our server connor who even let us laugh while we waited for our food. eating was just as ordered and I encourage others to visit!

I have a date with my partner here and I tell you that eating was delicious. the service was great. everyone was friendly and polite. I will come back here in future definitiw.

The white lion in place, great location to meet with family and friends. eating is cheap and good portions. the workers are working hard to keep everyone happy, especially ash, sam and harvey, who always smile and say hello. avoid super busy times and they will not be disappointed.

I recently visited this restaurant for a drink and was impressed by the variety of food options on the menu, so I decided to order a meal. I always like to keep track of when my order was placed, so after waiting for 45 minutes, I asked for a refund from the waitress. While I was at the bar explaining my situation, the waitress approached me and apologized for the delay, explaining that it was due to personal issues. Despite the wait, the two meals we ordered were excellent and left us feeling satisfied and happy. If we had been informed about the delay beforehand, we would have gladly ordered more drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub even more. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely consider returning in the future.
