Zio Mario's - Brisbane

Checked this place out mid week for dinner. Great atmosphere and lovely staff/owners. We both had pasta which was beautiful. Will definitely be back.

Food 7/10, Ambience 6/10, Service 7/10. Don't let the crappy decor fool you. The food is delicious and priced well. The service is very friendly but don't expect any hipster gear here. It's just good old fashion Italian food done really well. If they spent money on the fitout they could probably charge double.

The fresh homemade pasta at this restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend trying the spinach and ricotta tortellini if it's available when you visit. It's worth asking if there are any specials that aren't listed on the menu.

Zio Mario's is the go-to spot for authentic Italian cuisine. The service is friendly and the puttanesca is the best I've ever had. Highly recommended for anyone in search of a true taste of Italy.
