Yard Bird Ale House - Brisbane

Wings were the best thing on the menu, but they had changed the last time I went in (a few weeks ago). Sitting outside is much nicer then inside, but the food Ive found to be too ambiousious, which results in dissapointment for the customer. I go back because im local, wouldnt recommend otherwise.

Dear owner. Nice one! Casual, easy going, friendly staff, cracker menu, (damn those wings are hot)! Love the old movies playing inside. I am now a regular!

FOOD = 3.5 AMBIENCE = 3.5 SERVICE = 3.5 Known for its wings... a great place. Massive serves of wings and great choices. A great pub feel set in a cosy precinct. They do wraps and other things as well.

Yard Bird is my go to place for wings and beer if I want to sit down and eat with mates. The wings are always consistent. I have tried other stuff on their menu and the servings are massive. Great value for money. It is always buzzing at nighttime. During the day it is a bit quiet but I have had some good lumch sessions here in the past. You definitely need to try the food here if you have not already! I think Valley store is better than the Paddington one! *** My considerations: 1. Food 2. Value 3. Service 4. Atmosphere. All weighed evenly but Food/Value receive more weight when a tiebreaker is required! *** My scale: Take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion! 5: Extraordinary and should never be dished out easily! 4.5: The benchmark and would travel to eat here. 4: Excellent.
