The Red Lion Hotel - Brisbane

Very quiet, but eating was delicious. the red lion is renamed, but the staff and eating is great. would recommend friends and family.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. All meals (at the time of my visit) were $15. I ordered the rump steak with mashed potatoes and salad, and it was cooked perfectly to my liking. The meat was of high quality and delicious. As the evening progressed, there were some rowdy locals, but the staff handled the situation well before security intervened. Overall, the good value and quality of the food made it a pleasant experience. I wish the new owner all the best in adding some character to the place. It has the potential to be a great spot with some improvements.

We thought of a fast feed during the trip by about 1:45 clock, not made at all to feel unwilling from the late arrival. we sat fast and received super friendly service from waitress and bar-groom. meal times (a buffalo wing gf the...other steak sanga) came in record time and were really delicious, with great sauces. fabulous cold wine beer to seal the deal. we were back on the road in good under an hour such a top choice if by the opposite would definitely be back to lunch, cheers red lion hotel!

We stopped while we visited our son and daughter-in-law and had such a great experience that we looked almost every day of our visit to lunch! the place is very clean and the food and preparation high quality and great value for money. manager was so hospitable and made us feel very welcome.

I have eaten lunch at the Red Lion three times in the last 2 months and have been impressed by the standard of the food and the helpfulness of the staff. The serves are generous and the food tasty without being pretentious. The prices at...Lunch time make it unbeatable value for money in a pleasant atmosphere. I am told that the pub changed hands in recent months, and the new management seem to be doing well. Give them a try – I have no hesitation in going back and recommending it to others.
