The Cave Inn - Brisbane

Wonderful live music venue in the Gabba here in Brisbane. Independent record and vintage clothing store as well. All you need for an excellent night or afternoon and very close to regular public transport if you're feeling indulgent and not wanting to drive. A good place to visit frequently for a lot of fun, great music, records and clothes.

OMG the pizza is amazing! Gluten free bases, great toppings, big serves. In house brewed ginger BEER.

I am very disappointed with this restaurant because one of the main event organizers did not play a Karkalicious remix at the gig. However, I understand that she may have a disability. The food at this place is exactly what I expected from a place like this, and I say that with affection. I would actually be quite upset if the food became any better, as it might take away from the dive vibe that the place is going for - reminiscent of Beat Poets on ketamine and listening to noisy music. There is a woman named Heather who is often there on Tuesdays; she is whimsical, handsome, and carries an air of mystery and femininity. She is a humble presence. I am tempted to deduct one star from my review because I was scolded for smoking near a gas main, but overall I rate this place a 9/10.

The music at this restaurant is amazing, with top-notch live performances. Be sure to make a reservation early, as tickets tend to sell out quickly for shows by Natives of Bedlam and Hot Potatoes.
