Sushi On Milton - Brisbane

A colleague and I had lunch at Sushi on Milton a few weeks ago and enjoyed a quick, tasty and filling lunch. We ordered the Chicken Karaage Bowl and the Chicken Bento Box. The Chicken Karaage Bowl was a generous serving of chicken and rice, topped with Teriyaki and Japanese Mayonnaise. A bit too much mayonnaise for my liking, but overall the dish was above average and rated a 3.5. The Chicken Bento Box was pretty impressive. In addition to a serving of Chicken Katsu, presented the same way as the Karaage, the Bento box included rice, salad, miso soup, edamame, a potato croquette and a gyoza. Great way to sample several menu items. This rated 3.5-4. We arrived pretty early and the restaurant was empty, but we were still impressed with how quickly our food was prepared (I don't think the chicken was cooked to order). By the time we left there was a line out the door - mostly takeaway - and the staff were really flying. If you arrive between 12-1, you'll likely have to queue, but the line moves quickly. Looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

It was quite good, had the eel dish and I have high expectations as I have been trying out this dish everyone around brisbane and gold coast. So It is not the best but good enough for a good mark. The staff was ok... I was just standing there for a while before I was served but it was lunch time 'rush'... kinda.

Come here for sushi all the time and it's always good, decided to try the karaage bento and you get so much! Standard main + rice + salad, but you also get a gyoza, potato croquette, edamame and miso. The staff are nice, speedy service if you're in a rush.

If I ever feel like a sushi on this side of town, I'll always stop in, always a queue to get served, but always moves quickly, service is quick and food
