Red Rooster - Brisbane

I don't know how it tastes to the locals, but I think it's generally too sweet, too sweet, or too salty, compared to other chain stores.

Visited this place while on holidays, very pleasant staff. Wanted to try the new BBQ Wings and was happy to pay but the staff/owner was generous and gave me two for free to try. The meals we got were good and as we ordered.

Cheat night came around and my wife, father in law and I decided to try out Red Rooster at Aspley. It was funny because it didn't even smell nice in the car on the way home. Once we divvied out the food (chips, chicken, sides, burgers) the food tasted awful! The cooked chicked tasted processed/fake. The chips we under seasoned, floppy and only half full (we live about 3 mins from the store) and the burgers were thrown together with hardly any toppings. The customer service wasn't that crash hot. We couldn't actually understand the person on the speaker through drive through, which made it very difficult and meant that food was left off our order (we had to drive back down) They wouldn't replace any of our now cold food that we had partially touched before we realized that 4 other items were missing. I now know why this place always looks empty. I have never eaten such crappy food from any Red Rooster before. We will never be going back. Pick up your act Red Rooster Aspley before you make the others look bad!
