I love how they’ve taken a unique twist to how donuts are prepared, and personally, what’s not to love about a healthy donut that tastes glorious without any of that extra bad stuff? : One will leave you feeling full and satisfied. Their iced chai latte is also an amazing choice for a perk me up!
Pretty good doughnuts, both taste wise and for your waistline (in comparison to other doughnut delights).<br/ <br/ It's exciting seeing this cafe start out from a small doughnut market stall to expand into a cafe, then into a larger cafe and expand into 2 other locations.<br/ <br/ The crew beind Nodo know how to make beautiful food. It will leave you with a smile on your face and in your belly.<br/ <br/
Nodo is a small, cute cafe located on Elizabeth Street. The quaint coffee stop is the perfect place for brunch, especially if you're looking for a place that caters to a variety of dietary requirements. Nodo's menu is entirely gluten free with a lot of dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options!<br/ <br/ My friends and I stopped here for our breakfast on a Tuesday morning. The seating was empty but there was always a constant flow of people ordering coffee to go. <br/ <br/ We ordered the avocado toast which was delicious. The avocado was so generously heaped onto the toast and was garnished with pomegranate seeds, poppy seeds, edible flowers and heaps more. Overall, this dish was quite standard just your ordinary avocado on toast, but way more aesthetic (especially for those instagram photos).<br/ <br/ The acai bowl was served quite creatively. It was served in a cardboard cup (almost looked like a terracotta planter pot). The top was loaded with granola, fresh fruits, edible flowers and coconut shavings. The acai itself was so delicious not quite sure which brand of acai blend they used but definitely didn't taste like Amazonia. In saying this, the acai was one of the best I have tasted! The granola was fresh, crunchy and definitely not store bought. The only thing I could comment about this was that it could do with more acai as the acai to granola ratio was a little bit off. However, overall the bowl was delicious and I would definitely reorder this!<br/ <br/ The sweet potato waffle was very unique. The sweet potato waffle was served almost like an eggs benedict. There were poached eggs on top served with plenty of greens. However, there was barely any hollandaise sauce which was quite disappointing. The texture of the waffle was so soft and delicious definitely not like a regular waffle but was still fantastic. <br/ <br/ Overall, Nodo serves up some very uniquely designed and created menu dishes. Would definitely return or even visit the New Farm store. Would recommend the acai bowl from here and in the future would love to try the donuts!
Good Chai Latte, yummy vegan doughnuts. The place is a bit small, and apparently they started serving food now so it might be a little inconvenient eating there. I haven't tried their food but for a quick coffee break and a doughnut its pretty good. I liked it.
After a long time wanting to come here and not being able due to other events or plans that I had to attend, today I was finally able to do it.<br/ <br/ And I am glad I did.<br/ <br/ Firstly ordered the pumpkin maple and the valronha doughnut, but after having those two we found ourselves still wanting more and ended up also ordering the passionfruit and coconut doughnut. And to drink I had a dirty chai latte.<br/ <br/ The dirty chai latte was creamy and spicy but it had a different flavour than what I'm used to, it was not better nor worse just different, seemed to have a deeper bitterness to it that I couldn't quite grasp but my best guesses would be eater nutmeg or turmeric for this reason I think it could have been a bit more sweet to balance out the flavour present on it. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.<br/ <br/ The doughnuts were all excellent but as said by other reviewers, by the taste of it and the texture it reminds more of a sponge cake than a doughnut (guess that's the downside of it being baked and not deep fried). Other than that I don't have any complains, the doughnuts were exactly as described on their labels, a perfect balance of sweetness to it and a nice match of flavour that seemed to dance together in my mouth. I would rate all of the doughnuts a 4.5 out of 5.<br/ <br/ Overall I think today I might have had some of the best doughnuts I have ever had in my life and I definitely will be back to try the other flavours.
