Contribuiți la feedbackThe only thing more disappointing than the food, was the service. This used to be one of our favourite restaurants, however after not having been for a couple of years, was disappointed with our experience from the moment we arrived. Maître d tried to sit us outside, with no heaters in winter. We had a reservation, so requested a seat indoors. This was accommodated. Food was average at best. Lacking flavour across a ranges of appetisers and main. Service was dreadful, the low point. Waitress huffed and walked away when we requested our appetiser dishes be taken away when she brought the mains to the table. Attitude seemed like she felt clearing tables was beneath her. After initial drinks order, we we not asked for drinks orders again. Won’t be going back. Plenty of other options at Gasworks and elsewhere.
Outstanding service and food from all staff during a very busy night at Vivid event.. seated quickly without a booking.. staff were run off their feet but attentive and welcoming.. food was absolutely amazing.. third visit now will keep coming back.. thank you Fiona and Angus
If you're craving delicious Turkish cuisine, this restaurant is not the place to go. I had dined here a few years ago and was excited to return, but I was ultimately let down. The cocktails were expensive and not as described on the menu. The dishes were undercooked and the bread was doughy in the middle. The tabouli was more like a parsley salad with very few grains of tabouli. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but the quality of the food and drinks was lacking. I will not be returning to this restaurant in Brisbane, and I would not recommend it to others. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the restaurant, they insisted that this was how they prepare their meals. They did offer a 10% discount, but it was not enough to entice me to return.
The owners of this restaurant should be embarrassed. They are clearly trying to save money by cutting corners, yet their prices are higher than average. The food is far from authentic Mediterranean cuisine, despite the nice atmosphere of the venue. The Fattoush, for example, was just a pre-packaged lettuce mix with a single cherry tomato. Even the garlic sauce came in cheap plastic containers on the side. It is obvious that management is prioritizing cost-cutting over quality, which is disappointing for food enthusiasts in Brisbane.
Visited for New Year's Eve dinner, first time at the restaurant. After being seated we ordered two drinks which took over 50 minutes to arrive at our table. Waitresses were not apologetic in the slightest for the ridiculous wait time. Had to ask three different waitresses for our order to be taken for food. The food was average lacking flavour to be considered traditional Mediterranean cuisine. The worst service I have received at a restaurant for quite some time, would not recommend.
