Mama Mia's Pizza and Pasta - Brisbane

The staff and food at this restaurant were excellent. However, the table menu was limited and we ended up ordering 2 specials and a side salad. The food took longer to arrive than expected, but it was very tasty. We realized during our meal that we only received 1 special and the side salad, which turned out to be enough. When we went to pay, we noticed that the menu board above the cashier had other offers that were not on the table menu. It was confusing and we were charged for items we did not receive. The restaurant needs better organization and communication with their menu and ordering process to avoid these discrepancies. Despite this, we plan to give them another try in the future to see if things have improved.

I live in the spot and eat here is amazing. very authentic Italian aromas and extremely low waiting times. very child-friendly, the beautiful owner always says hello to me and my children, even though I don't eat there. the pasta is classic Italian aromas with high quality ingredients and the pizza is a traditional crispy basic, not oversatured. cooked in a traditional pizza oven.

Four of us met for lunch at Mama Mia over the weekend. It was a rainy and chilly day, so we were happy to find an indoor table. We all really enjoyed our meals. My gnocchi with creamy four cheese sauce was especially delicious on the cold day. Two of our group had pizza, which looked great and they confirmed it was tasty. Another friend had a chicken dish that also looked amazing and they enjoyed it. Although we had to wait a bit for our meals, the staff was busy and the restaurant was bustling with customers.

This restaurant is not recommended for families with children. We had to wait for over 90 minutes for a pizza and two main dishes. The pizza was terrible - it was soggy, overly saucy, undercooked, and lacked cheese. The main dishes (chicken avocado and garlic prawns) were mediocre and it was clear that they used frozen vegetables. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
