Little Clive Cafe - Brisbane

Had the big Breakfast, comes with poached eggs, bacon, ham some sort of cheese, grilled mushrooms and a sort of potato hash brown. Delicious.

Five of us sat down good meals were reasonably priced and huge so if you need to share do so coffees were well done and service was pretty good

Stopped in to have a late lunch after a shopping trip with the girls and what a terrible experience. Ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and hash brown and was served poached eggs instead. Waitress was apologetic as it was her mistake and returned with half cooked scrambled eggs, cold bacon, cold hash brown and toast soaked with raw eggs. One of the girls was still eating her meal and a staff member came and told us we will have to go and pay as they were closing. We walked up to the counter to pay and we were asked how our meal was and I replied that it was terrible and began to explain and a staff member came over and said that there would be "no charge and don't come back". He then walked to rest of the group and thanked them for being good customers. A terrible experience and a disappointing end to a good day shopping.

Out for the usual Sunday breaky run, thought we'd try this place. Not sure how long the place has been going for but the customer service was pretty average. Staff were more concerned about seating people than looking after the people that were already there or they were sitting down talking to other customers. Its table service but after 15 mins my partner ended up going to the counter and ordering for ourselves. Meals came out eventually and sadly they werent memorable. I had a vege stack kinda thing which was basically two slabs of bread garnished with a couple of strips of zucchini, kale and half an avocado dipped in sesame seeds. Not worth the $17.90 pricetag. Go elsewhere for better value for money and service.

Little Clive used to be my local but I still make my way there every now and then. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and they do well in remembering their regular customers. Their coffee is always great and the food is really good also. I go mainly for breakfast but I have tried a burger and that was delicious. Went to a themed trivia night also which was great and the fact that alcohol is available makes it even better! When they're busy there is quite a bit of a wait for food but that really can't be helped. Be patient, it's worth the wait!
