Little Birdie - Brisbane

Jeraine, the woman working at the restaurant, provided the worst hospitality I have ever encountered. Considering her position in a hospital setting, I would have expected her to show some kindness and understanding towards customers who may be feeling emotionally drained. However, she seemed more concerned with finishing her shift and getting home. Shockingly, she even allowed us to eat our meal outside in the courtyard. Thankfully, the rest of the medical staff were excellent.

I spend a lot of time in hospitals for work and not all the cafes there offer fresh and healthy food. Luckily, Little Birdee consistently serves delicious and healthy lunch and snack options, along with great coffee. The staff is friendly, the prices are good, and the environment is clean and beautiful. It's a great place to relax, grab a coffee, chat with friends, or even have a small business meeting.

I was admitted to the hospital for 10 days, so I was bored by hospital food. He started calling me “Treats”. All cupcakes, cakes and slices are fresh and delicious. There is also a varied selection of raised drinks. There are also mini cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips crackers and other meals you can buy. Good atmosphere for a hospital café. The prices are at the top of a cafe scale, but the quality of the food is worth it. I miss the warm savory muffins with butter and relish, yummmmm.

In the hospital, a small selection of things, and prices may be a little too high in terms of value, but at least reasonable by fast service

I ordered a large latte (they only come in a small) and a bacon spinach relish roll. The coffee is not great. The bacon and relish were beautiful and flavoursome, but the roll is a plain old white served cold. Very doughey and hard to...eat. $15
