Kasalong Thai - Brisbane

My partner and I decided to try out a Thai restaurant, and we were delighted to discover that Kasalong Thai offers a variety of authentic and familiar dishes from Thailand. We shared Moo Yang, Khao Soi Curry, and Duck with Tamarind Sauce, all of which were delicious. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, which truly tasted like it was made in Thailand. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to visit this restaurant because we had fond memories of the old Thai shop (Thai Weat) that used to serve excellent food. The restaurant had recently been bought by a new owner and had been renamed Kasalong Thai, but still had good reviews. I had lived in Thailand for years and had not been able to find any Thai restaurant that could match the authentic flavors. We were a bit apprehensive at first, but as soon as we started eating, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was even better than before! This meal was for our son's birthday celebration with his friends. The noodles were a hit with all the kids, and even the spicy noodles my partner ordered were delicious. My seafood phad char dish reminded me of the meals I used to have in Bangkok. I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of Thai cuisine. I hope more people in Brisbane get to experience the wonderful flavors of Thai food.

We stumbled upon this small restaurant in Chinatown Mall for lunch. We ordered our food hot, the Thai dishes were very authentic. We especially liked the Khao Soi (curry noodle soup) and Som Tum Boo Pla La. The staff was very friendly and we had a great experience.

We are here when I have read reviews, it was authentic, but it was anything but chicken cashew was luke warm, bland and full or crisp cut carrots and various sweets, which seems the norm in Australia. very, very dissapointing.

They serve authentic Thai food, and it is even better if you ordered them as Thai spicy. But that would be too spicy for people who cannot really handle spicy food. They have lunch specials and they are not too expensive. Tom yam soup, chicken...basil rice, pork larb, and omelette rice (lunch only) are some of the dishes that we like.
