Istanbul 1923 - Brisbane

The food was incredibly tasty and it felt like being at home (European)! We arrived late one evening during a hectic work week and received excellent service along with delicious food. We will definitely be recommending this place to some friends and returning in the future.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The meals were fresh, delicious, and very satisfying. There were plenty of options for both food and drinks. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They also had clean restrooms available. With many seating areas, this has become one of our go-to spots for Turkish cuisine!

Booked a table for four, and they had us seated right by the windows with a beautiful roadside view. Food portions were generous AND delicious, service was impeccable, and most importantly, reasonably-priced. 10/10 will recommend this place for friend/family gatherings!

The atmosphere was pleasant with the music playing, but the interior was starting to look dated with the tiled ceiling. The outdoor space at the back looked inviting and fun, but it might be too cold in winter without heaters. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, although it's not my favorite. I plan to return to try some other items on the menu, but perhaps not for a Sunday lunch.

Went there on Friday night. Food was lovely (lamb and bread were sooo good and the service was absolutely fantastic! When I asked to sit somewhere specific, they were very accommodating. They were very attentive and kept bringing out water for us. And when I wanted to make a change to an item I ordered, they were so helpful and even asked if I wanted extra of something else to make up for it.
