Contribuiți la feedbackWe went for an early dinner before heading to the movies and were pleased to find a great bar and restaurant. The special deal included a pitcher or two pints of Hahn beer, along with a free bar snack. We ordered burgers and were impressed by the size and flavor. The prices were reasonable and the antique decor, with photography prints for sale, added to the charm. It's nice to see a small business supporting local artists. We would definitely return for drinks with friends in the afternoon.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. I don't want to give away too much because a big part of its charm lies in its delightful surprises. The decor is delightfully eclectic, and music enthusiasts will feel right at home here, as will those who appreciate certain aspects of American culture. The food was fantastic and the service was incredibly friendly yet efficient. I can't fathom how anyone could describe this place as terrible, especially when I overheard other diners at the bar expressing the same enthusiastic praise as we were. Maybe they were just having an off night. I'll have to come back and see for myself.
I had a cheeseburger with an undercooked patty at this restaurant. I asked for it to be cooked further, but was told that was how they typically cook it. When it came back out two minutes later, it was still raw. I decided not to eat it to avoid getting sick, but ended up eating the bread and chips out of hunger after waiting for so long. The general manager refused to refund me the $12 I paid for the burger, claiming I had already eaten half of it by consuming the bread and chips. They also mentioned that they typically cook their meat medium rare, and if I wanted it cooked more, I should have requested it. This information was not mentioned on the menu. Despite providing feedback, the manager showed no concern or willingness to rectify the situation. I will not be returning to this restaurant and hope others don't experience food poisoning like I did. Good luck if you choose to dine there, but I certainly won't be.
At this very new facility on the north side one had a pleasant eating and ambiente. near the gaythorne railway station, this place is quite easy to reach. I had a very good cheesburg fresh and tasty. I also tried the bourbon and the green apple juice cocktail. the rest of the group has cost some of the other cocktails and they were great. I would just go back for the green apple and bourbon cocktails. probably no place to take young children, but the personal was friendly and could make speech if they really enthusiastic with children. would go back.
We came in for an early bird dinner before going to the cinemas and were lucky enough to have the bar and restaurant all to ourselves. The deal running at the time was order a pitcher or 2 pints of tap beer and get a free bar snack item. We also ordered a burger each and were not disappointed with out choices. Both burgers were huge and packed with flavour. Prices were very good too. The decor is alternative and intriguing with some photography prints displayed also for sale. Nice to see small businesses supporting local artists. Would be great to come back for some afternoon drinks with friends.
