Cool Beans Baguettes - Brisbane

This restaurant offers fantastic lunch and breakfast options made fresh every day. I often drop by for a quick bite, whether it's breakfast or lunch. Their baguettes are absolutely incredible; they use authentic French baguettes that I don't think you can find anywhere else in the CBD. The coffee is excellent as well.

I visited this café many years ago and left a review, but it seems to have vanished, so I’m guessing there might have been a change in ownership. I recall that my previous impression of the coffee wasn’t very positive, but this time I enjoyed an excellent cup of Toby's Estate. The double shot was served in a small cup, resulting in a rich and smooth brew.

Once I sat down, I was informed that they were out of beetroot for my juice, so I substituted it with orange. While I was initially disappointed, I was pleased when it arrived—it was delicious! The salad, however, included raw shallots that weren’t listed in the ingredients, which introduced an unexpected raw onion flavor that was another letdown. Overall, my lunch experience was just okay. The service was friendly, and the food was ready quickly, but there were a couple of small issues that would prevent me from rushing back.

Fresh not fried! Refreshing healthier version to quick lunch options at the top end of town including some yummy salads, no carb options, gluten free, yoghurts snacks.

Saturday morning just around the corner coffee aid. love the coffee here, but it just took a little too long for the wait....saw some breakfast made....it was huge !! gotta try it sometime.
