Chez Nous Cafe - Brisbane

On the corner across from the Brisbane Transit Centre, is a lovely café. It has a large patio and also indoor seating. It is pay at the counter, but they bring the food to you by number once prepared. The food is prepared to order, or you can purchase what is ready to go. Cut fruit, breakfast sandwiches, salads, eggs benedict, toasties, coffees, smoothies, etc.. I love to get pancakes with cut fruit. I also get the Turneric Latte and banana smoothie when I go.

Enjoyed two breakfasts at CNC and was impressed with the fresh food elements in the 'made to order' breakfast choices, as well as the coffee quality. Popular, including police officers from nearby offices. Friendly service.

I was in the area for a work meeting and visited this lovely little cafe for breakfast. The avocado on toast was a good serve size and very reasonably priced, not to mention delicious! The coffee was superb (I'm a coffee snob!), much better than most of the cafe/coffee chains. Looking forward to visiting this little gem again soon.

Positives: OK for a coffee, and the only cafe in cooee where you can have a complimentary read of the daily newspaper eith your morning coffee. Sometimes some nice cakes too. OK salads. Negatives: An inordinate selection of greasy and bain-marie lunch options ... surely the world has moved on from these options, why hasn't this place?

We would have gladly tried this Café for breakfasts, & other meals while recently staying in Brisbane in near by accommodation....But it was closed Saturday & Sunday.
