Contribuiți la feedbackWe went here for coffee last Saturday morning. The coffee was excellent, but the food was even better. Hand made, well presented, and most enjoyable. We had sausage roll, a yoghurt cup, and carrot cake. The sausage roll was the best I can remember ever having. The seating by the side was a bit basic, but wasn't a biggie. A great place for locals.
Life has been too busy and I haven't been to Cafe Gia for a few months. And when I walked in last week the staff gave me the best welcome.Everyone in our party polished every crumb off their plate. And considering one of our group isn't a big eater, that is a huge compliment.I always order the corn cakes and they didn't disappoint.I'll look forward to our next visit to Cafe Gia!
Met a friend here for breakfast the other day. Firstly I like the look and feel of the cafe. I thought the menu was good but when I went up to order I was ignored for ages. Several staff members were behind the counter busy but couldn't be bothered. When I eventually ordered, the girl behind the counter actually leaned over me and started talking to another staff member. Just clueless service. My breakfast itself was actually very nice (corn fritters, my friend had the mushrooms and liked). There are so many great places to have breakfast so I wouldn't bother going back here.
Funky location but they really need to invest in some lounges or more comfortable seating. Wiping tables down is also a good thing
We had the spanakoptia and meatballs for lunch. Both tasty, Smallish dishes but this was reflected in the modest prices. Just perfect for a light lunch with good coffee. We were won over by the good service and complimentary caramel tarts ( we were both birthday girls). We'll be back.
