The staff at this restaurant were very helpful, polite, and a pleasure to be served by. The food was quite enjoyable and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would visit again.

I recently visited this restaurant for the second time and once again, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the food and service. The lunch rump was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed it with an icy cold pot of beer, which was part of the lunch special. The restaurant is very family-friendly, so I will definitely return with my family to try out more items on the menu.

We went to the restaurant for lunch on Friday and enjoyed great meals. The steak was cooked perfectly. However, the sticky date pudding for dessert was disappointing as it was served cold. I had it before and it was perfect, but not this time. We were dining with friends from England.

Lovely Newley renovated establishment with an upmarket Pub menu. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. My steak was cooked to perfection! Friendly staff and prompt service. Will definitely be back!

This place is exactly what it pretends to be. I like to read the reviews on zomato and google before I try a place with a group, although I may not form any lingering opinion from those reviews, other than to add to my local knowledge base. I read the only 2 reviews for this venue and admittedly had no high expectations as I had been there years ago. (Pre-reno 's and management change)Now, I 'm acutely aware we don 't all exist in a consistent realm of 'having a good day ' but each of us will have to accept the reality that our current mood may effect our experiences.I was more than pleasantly uplifted as we walked into a modern yet 'local ' atmosphere. Yep, saw the couple of obligatory resident non- descripts... meh? ! Show me a pub in Aus... nay the globe, which doesn 't. As for atmosphere, when I go to this style of establishment, it 's to chill, maybe talk a little loud and enjoy a good time with a few friends. We certainly achieved that. Much to the cheeky delight of the attentive staff.Our service, meals and bill were just fine. Actually, possibly on the plus side of really enjoyable. It 's the little things, the Szechuan pepper for extra flavor release in the calamari [drools remembering the lime aioli], the freshness of the oysters, the steak on the bone cooked to perfection (not easy, I 've tried).Well done to you, see you all again very soon.
