Hakataya Ramen - BRISBANE CITY

I've just had ramen here. The waitress (with no eyeglasses) who served me was very rude. Never ever seen any rude waitress like this. Not happy at all. Definitely won't be back even though I am a big fan of Hakataya Ramen.

I joke that you can never have too much pork but the pork ramen (with extra pork) is Too Much Pork. This is good and bad. Don't get me wrong it was delicious. The soup broth is very unctuous. And the pork is very porky. I did eat it all which was probably a mistake. Was definitely put off eating pork for a whole weekend. Will I go back? Probably. Might not have extra pork next time. Makes one very unproductive. But seriously the pork was never ending. I'm not really a ramen aficionado so I'm probably not the best person to ask about ramen (and the idea of soup in Brisbane always seems insane) but the place is super hopping mad busy so i suspect it rates up there. They also have a TV playing amusing ads. I forget what they were now but I laughed at the time.

I have always enjoyed the Ramen here, especially the spicy miso. Can get really busy at lunch time on Mon-Fri but apart from that, top notch.

I didn't order or pay, so no discussion on staff or pricing. The Hakataya Ramen restaurant is located near the 1I bus stop in the Queens St Plaza. The restaurant uses a eating area shared by surrounding restaurants which is clean but bland. The meal was ready in 16 minutes and was spicy pork Ramen. I found the meal to be not all spicy, though there was chilli sauce/oil to knock it up a notch, aside from that the meal was good.

I love the soup broth from hakataya Ramen! The first time I came here i was abit skeptical. However, over time my tastebuds have really grown a liking. My favourite to order is the char siu Ramen. I find this place a quick and affordable meal to satisfy any Ramen cravings. It's even better that they offer free birthday meals! The only downside is limited seating, especially during peak lunch hours.
