Lychee Thai Food - Brisas de Zicatela

Great food and nice drinks. the green curry was really excellent, pairing great with the garnels that were quite fresh, and while the red curry was not so good, it was also a great dish. they offer fun and fresh cocktails and the ambiente is too...the same time is thought out and relaxed. they can say that the menu and the concept have been carefully designed and everyone involved was fun with the performance. the only problem with my visit is that the service is repaired (the 4 stars). the personal was never rude or dismissed us, they were always super friendly, but rather slow. we even saw a few vacations after 15 minutes to sit and no one took her command. all in all, worth a visit and one of the best opportunities in brisas de zicatela. hopefully they were just a little out of their game in the night we visited.

Experience was ok, friendly service etc. sadly the food was pretty poor. Turned up at 7.15 and put our names down on the list, told to come back in 20 30 mins. Came back in 25 and were seated by 35, so all good. Starters arrived...quickly and were tasty. Mains however not good. The pad Thai was absolutely loaded with mint ?! tasted completely alien to any pad Thai I’ve had before, and I live in london where Thai restaurants are as common as Macdonald’s so I’ve had my share of pad Thais! The chicken stir fry was ok but too salty and the chicken itself was over cooked rubbery. The rice was good though ! Overall the place had a bit of a hectic vibe lots of drunk/high people falling about the place and men taking up too much time in the loo doing god knows what. Perhaps I’m just too old now, but I wouldn’t go back in a hurry.

I wanted to echo the review by Laura D from late 2020 about the incorrect vegetarian/vegan labelling on the menu. The menu has 4-5 items which are labelled with the vegan V symbol, however most of these items contain fish sauce, making them in fact...not apt for vegetarian or vegans. There is only one main dish on the menu which is actually vegetarian, which is the stir fried vegetables with peanuts in a sweet and sour sauce. It's a mediocre dish and not very Thai. I asked whether a pad thai or some other dish could be prepared vegan, without fish sauce, and was told no. The ambience at Lychee is admittedly quite nice, but for a decent meal, veggies are better off at nearby Piyoli or Savanna.

Great Thai food! very recommended! huge portions. ended my amazing green curry to sit with us the huge male group because I didn't finish and it was too good to waste. also the spring rollers were good! highly recommended!

While the server was beautiful, I must say that it wasn't eating. my friend, I chose this place due to the excellent reviews. the ambiente was excellent, but again the food needs drastic improvement from someone who knows Thai food. my honest review will help other like-minded large means of life to avoid disappointment. if they want to set up a large, then this place is enough.
