Contribuiți la feedbackWe wanted to try a variety of items in order to determine the quality of the food and service. Our server, Stephanie, was pleasant, friendly and promptly refilled our drinks without our having to ask. Service was definitely “Above Average”. We left her a full 20% tip. We started with their signature dish, the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer – A bit on the spicy side, but delicious. Ahi Tuna Appetizer – A good size portion, properly served (Seared outside, raw inside – Sushi grade . A mild cream sauce was drizzled on the tuna – tasty but wasabe and soy would have been nice with the sauce served separately. Coconut shrimp – Delicious! Good sized shrimp, lots of toasted coconut and a nice marmalade dipping sauce. Scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer – Delicious. Each of the 4 scallops were wrapped in crispy bacon while keeping the scallops moist, topped with a dollop of chutney. Chilled Asparagus – Delicious. A light lemon sauce drizzled over about a dozen nicely chilled spears. By the time we got this far, we sere stuffed. Although we had planned to have dessert, we had to postpone that for our next visit… which will be soon. : Although prices were a little high, they were definitely worth it for the ambience and qualtiy of the food and service received. We’re always happy to spend a bit more for a really enjoyable dining experience.
I recently went to this restaurant with a very good friend of mine. We had a wonderful time. The service was quick ans willing to do most anything and explain everything. The food was delicious, and even though I am not a big fish eater there were many other choices, such as chicken, pork, and steak. I tried some of my friend’s fish as well and it was delicious. Their salads were exeptional, and had wonderful portions unlike many restaurants that have cut back to save money. They had the best desserts I had had in a long time
I flew into Florida from Seattle to visit family whom I hadn’t seen in a while. It was my brother’s anniversary and I owed him a couple of favors so I wanted to find a nice place with good food that wouldn’t hurt my bank account too much. We all love seafood so Bonefish Grill was an obvious choice. No problem making a reservation. Upon arrival, I asked the hostess to tell our waiter to bring a desert with a candle to celebrate an anniversary. I wasn’t expecting a full dining room on a Monday night, and thought to myself, a full crowd is a good indication. I was right. From the moment we walked in, everything was near perfect. We had a comfortable table for the 5 of us, the host handled my mother’s handicap perfectly. Our waiter Mike greeted us promptly, explaining how the menu works for us first timers. I ordered a $5.00 Sauza Margarita to start the night. Delicious. For starters I ordered a caeser salad and my father the chowder. The dressing was excellent on the salad, so I forgave the lack of freshness of the romaine. The chowder was spicy, rich and delicious. Our entrees came without waiting too long. I had the fresh Ahi tuna with Asian Sauce. The tuna was of good quality and fresh. The sauce was ok, not a true freshly made Asian sauce. Sauces are an art and I did not expect a made to order sauce, but it was adequate. My brother ordred shrimp and filet mignon. The filet was overcooked and the waiter took care of it immediately, without hesitation. The second piece of filet was not only cooked perfectly, it was a thicker cut of meat, making my picky brother very happy. My mother ordered the crab cakes and she seemed quite happy with them. They had a little bite to them and were mostly crab with little filler. All the fish entrees were fresh, well prepared and delicious. We ordered dessert and I was happy to see they remembered the anniversary at our table by bringing a yummy chocolate brownie dessert with a candle. In addition, the waiter brought a box of chocolates as an anniversary gift. I was wowed by that. The service, ambiance, food quality and price will definitely bring me back to the Bonefish Grill. For the very picky epicurean snob, this chain restaurant may not be the place for you. But if you want a solid seafood restaurant that serves fresh fish, with a youthful, upbeat atmosphere, nice bar area, and won’t cost you an arm and a leg, Bonefish Grill is the perfect place.
