Contribuiți la feedbackWe have a holiday home nearby and a couple of times per visit, we really crave some plain and ordinary yet well cooked food. Our local Buffalo Grill fulfills this need perfectly - the steaks are fine and cooked to order, the chips are fine, the burgers with roquefort sauce are actually exquisite (plus large) and the desserts are copious and CHEAP. Service is top notch and they are quick. The menu has frequent new additions. This place is part of a chain and the quality is pretty consistent throughout France after 10 years' experience. With the free wifi and plenty of room outside for those who still chuff away, the BG offers an economical and very acceptable dining experience. Tip: don't bother with the foul Californian wines on the menu when there is rosé du Var on the card.
If your looking for food that's been reheated to cremation then this is the place to go. Buffalo wings incinerated to a crisp, chicken portion that's burnt on the outside but chilled in the middle, Seriously needs a visit from the senior management.
We selected this restaurant as it was near to our hotel. The little salad appetiser was ok. I had ordered the Entrecote Cowboy (I know), medium. When it arrived it was the **** side of blue. I returned it. After further grilling it appeared to be "medium" but it was so tough I could not penetrate it with the steak knife. The manager intervened and the THIRD effort was not too bad. But I had to wonder why they could not have done that in the first place. The service overall was ok and the response of the manager was excellent but in the end I have to mark it down as a bad experience. No more Buffalo Grills for this cowboy!
On the road from Nice to Aix-en-Provence we found this bad knockoff of a cheap American steakhouse. As it was about the only place open in the town on a Sunday, and it seemed busy, we assumed it might be okay for a quick bite. We were VERY wrong. It was horrible, from "salad" consisting of limp pieces of iceberg lettuce soaked in liquified mayo with some corn kernels. And that was the least awful part. Next came fat-stuffed chicken wings with a weird barbecue sauce, the raw (not just rare) "chopped steak," and the greasy, off tasting bbq ribs. As for the tasteless so called "French fries" all we could think of is thank goodness they didn't call them Freedom Fries or pomme frites.Along with our check we were given a list of the locations of the many Buffalo Grill restaurants in Europe. I regard it as the culinary equivalent of a "do not fly" list.
We stood for ten minutes waiting to be fed up, given menus, but not asked if we wanted a drink. ten minutes for them to take an order, really silly as my man would have another beer then food came burger, it was ok but nothing like the picture bacon needs to cook more. waitress pleasant, but probably not going back
