The Waiting Room - Brighton and Hove

I don't mind paying extra for breakfast at a train station. I decided to try this place instead of Pret A Manger because it is a local company. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the hot chocolate - it was very weak and I had to send it back because it tasted like pure milk with no chocolate flavor. The pre-cooked bacon roll I ordered was microwaved and served cold in the middle. The bacon was greasy and lacked flavor. If you're in Brighton, I recommend skipping this place and heading to Joliffes in The Lanes for better quality food at a more affordable price.

This is a delightful place with delicious coffee and incredibly friendly staff. It has a cozy, non-corporate atmosphere that I love. Please, never change the decor - the use of wood and metal gives it a real, authentic feel, unlike the plastic and standardized look of many other station outlets. Cheers!

The coffee at this restaurant is excellent and the staff is friendly. However, the bacon sandwich was a disappointment. It was undercooked and not to my liking. I would have preferred to eat a pig raw in the woods than to eat that sandwich. I couldn't even take a bite, it went straight in the trash.

Nice and clean unlike the Pret next door. Good customer service and beautiful decor. The food is nice and the coffee is really good.
