M&s Cafe - Brighton and Hove

The woman behind the counter serving me and my mother-in-law was absolutely rude. She had no sense of humor and provided bad customer service. The coffee was bitter and not a proper americano. I am giving up on this cafe, as it used to be good.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times throughout the week and consistently found dirty trays scattered around with crumbs on the tables. I went on a Monday morning and it appeared to be in disarray, with piles of rubbish underneath the cake and scone table. The staff were either standing around or chatting with customers, and I would not recommend using the cutlery as it did not seem to be properly washed. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I would not recommend dining here.

I stopped by for a quick lunch and decided to order the fish finger sandwich with a latte. I immediately felt pressured to add extra items to my order, including paying extra for a new roast coffee. Despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty, which was a surprise since it is usually full and I have to wait for a table, the food was extremely disappointing. The fish fingers had no taste and the chips were bland. The coffee did not meet my expectations either and left a bad aftertaste. Overall, I believe the quality of the food has declined, the prices are too high, and the pressured sales tactics are off-putting. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.

Stopped for lunch with my daughter. Both of us had the bacon rolls ok, tasted fine, however at £3.25, a little pricey. Cafe clean and a good selection of food to choose from.

The all day breakfast was agin a bit Industrial ......tinned mushrooms....tasteless...thick cold toast with unspeakable butter.....the eggs had virtually no white and appeared to be semi poached......the bacon cold and hard......staff excellent but not enough of them to wipe the tables ....it appears that MnS have a policy on NO mustard available but sell it in the food hall..such is the nanny state.........would I eat there again....well certainly NOT the All day breakfast....
