Lucky Star - Brighton and Hove

I wish I could give a better review for this takeaway restaurant. I used to go here regularly for a few months and enjoyed it, but I recently had some negative experiences that have made me reconsider. I received an overcooked dish that was practically inedible, especially considering it cost 7 pounds. When I called to request a refund for the order, I was simply told that they would inform the chef and that a refund was not possible. Accountability is crucial in the restaurant business, and it's disappointing to see that this place has received negative reviews. I have recommended this restaurant in the past, but I can no longer support their Chinese food. Unfortunately, the customer service here is lacking consistency, and they have let me down.

We enjoy eating Chinese food, but this restaurant was a huge disappointment! There was no flavor at all in the dishes we ordered. It was a complete waste of money, and the spare ribs were the worst I have ever had. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Can’t even be bothered to pick up the phone. Been trying to get through on the phone for over half an hour!!!

First time we have used this takeaway and it was a good experience. Lovely tasty food and delivered hot and fresh. We will return.

Just ordered a chicken chow mein from them on uber eats, and it had absolutely no taste, so dry, and I couldn't even give them a feedback on uber eats.
