Grubbs Burgers - Brighton and Hove

I was at the Hove branch yesterday and had a blue cheese burger, it only had a tasteless cheese sauce in it and the burger meat parties were tasteless too and nasty, chips were reheated old one and burnt. Don't waste your money here is all I can say.

The Grubbs outlet on Brighton's St James Street in the Kemptown area is a fine example of the tasty burger chain. It has the usual extensive range of burgers and a nice little seating area. Trendy St James Street has a range of eateries but Grubbs is a quality fixture about two thirds of the way up from Old Steine. The signage does not stand out and it does look a little tired outside but inside is as good as ever. Ordering at the counter is simple enough aside from the challenge of choice. The range is as incredible as ever with all sorts of combinations, flavours, and sizes. Vegetarian has been am option at Grubbs forever so it is a great place for a quick eat. Burgers are churned out rapidly so there is rarely much of a wait. At this outlet the seating area is pretty good. Four tables in the side room offer a nice space amidst the simple wood surrounds. Never beautiful but perfectly pleasant. The only downside is the seats are a little high meaning even good size people will have feet dangling somewhat. Price is great considering the range and quality. Taste is superb. These are excellent burgers and well worth the reasonable cost. Grubbs is a legend across Brighton. The St James Street outlet is as good as any of them. An excellent place to stop off for a quick, delicious, and well-priced burger.

Love the taste of these burgers! Every time I'm in Brighton I have to have at least one! Simply delicious!!

Was in dire need of a mid afternoon burger fix after a night on the town. Smashes chain burgers. Was cooked from scratch, cheese was steam melted, salad was fresh. Milkshakes are proper as well. watched the chef do it all while listening to some tunes
