Gail's Bakery Brighton

The worst choc bun I've ever eaten. Not sure anyone in the shop ever tasted it.I realky regret buying that as a special treat.

Arrived at 3pm. Several tables already had chairs on top ready for closing. Other tables not cleared and no attempt made to do this despite not being busy. Staff taking order was not friendly or cheery, got the order wrong which I only realised when charged too much. No apology, took ages to issue refund. Not an enjoyable experience for a costly cake.

Just eaten the best almond croissant in the world! Wish we were staying another breakfast in Brighton so we could try something else from this glorious display! Everything looks delicious!

Such a beautiful display of bakery items! It was hard to choose but we had both savory and sweet and it was all delicious! Be wary though as its not cheap in the realms of bakery but to be honest the quality was so good we were happy to pay more than elsewhere for lovely food. The flat white coffee was also one of the nicest I've had in a long time. We ate in and it's a lovely atmosphere too. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

I love Gail’s Bakeries, but this is the best one I’ve visited! Super lovely staff, amazing food and coffee, better than my previous favourite, Chelsea!
