The place we were planning to go for breakfast was closed, which turned out to be lucky for us! We had passed this good-looking spot on our walk and so quickly came back. The service and the food were wonderful. If I could have come back for lunch, I would have.
Love the location and loved the food we had a lovely lunch and a peppermint tea and hubby had a coffee which he says was lovely . We Would defiantly recommend !
Went with extended family (4 kids, 6 adults) at 12 noon on the Monday before Easter. Their menu for lunch consisted of a limited selection of pre-prepared filled ciabatta, toasted sandwiches, and mini quiche. They were already running low when we got there, and were out of some things, so limited selection was further limited. We paid £27 for 4 soft drinks, a small breakfast bap, 2 filled ciabatta and a ham quiche. None of it came with any salad or anything, despite eating in; they just heated it and stuck it on a plate. The quiche was small, even for one of the kids! They didn't sell salads or crisps or anything, so couldn't supplement the food for the kids. The menu bore no relation to that which I downloaded from the website, and no relation to the reviews here that talk about main meals and salads. In summary, there is so much choice in Brighton that I wish we had gone somewhere else.
All we wanted was a quick sandwich. Over half an hour wait and they got it wrong. Should have been nice, but wasn 't for us unfortunately. Understand now why they said 'are you sure you want to sit outside? ' As yes if you wait that long it does get cold. Wasn 't even rush hour, 3pm and 4 other tables taken up. Went elsewhere and I 'd think we were just unlucky unfortunately. Lots of good restaurants up the road luckily. They dealt with it politely at least.
