The Edinburgh Pub - Brighton

After finding out The Eddy did vegan food we wanted to try it out sometime, and today we managed it. So the menu had some good choice. I opted for the vegan burger with curly fries. They also have an Xmas set menu with vegan turkey on it which sounds great. The lady who took our order was friendly and polite. We didnt wait too long for the food. It was really good. Will definitely be back here again.

Came for work meeting lunch , made to feel very welcome by the staff. I had the manchego starter, was lovely and for main the calamari, also delicious and only £12 for both which is a bargain for Brighton

We decided to pop into the Eddy after seeing it won the Bravo award. In all honesty we are unsure as to how they won. Very unfriendly landlady. Barely spoke to us even though the pub was empty on a bank hols. Felt we were intruding on a 'locals pub '. When we left, we brought our glasses to the bar and the landlady barely acknowledged us. So many great and friendly pubs in the area, really baffled at how this won no. 1. The 2 stars are because they stocked half decent beer

We were recommended trying this pub principally because the food was good.... in fact the food is VERY GOOD. OK it’s a pub restaurant and one might argue not overly comfortable but it is well worth a visit. It’s got a buzzy/local vibe... good beers and the staff are friendly and welcoming. My wife had the turbot main dish I I had the Station Burger... both well cooked and presented. The first course potato soup was good too. Will recommend and return.

Me and my boyfriend went to Coppa Club for dinner here. We started off our evening outside but moved inside when it got chilly. The staff from start to finish were so lovely. It was no bother for our lovely waiter to move us inside and our new waitress inside (Eliza) was so friendly and attentive. Both of us had the vegan burger which was also delicious! Would definitely recommend this place if not for the lovely food the fantastic and friendly staff!
