Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant itself was very pleasant. some of the employees were trained to serve food. eating was very basic, not what I had expected, more like what they would get at a harvester. white wine should be served chilled or cold, not room temperature and should also have the appropriate cooler. they should be put on the table and not handed over to them what I didn't like. the ambiente was very beautiful, I feel that it needs to be improved with the staff and eating as this could be a really nice place. I must say we found it very clean and the toilets were immaculate.
If they like to eat in the front room of a b and b and not expect too much of the kitchen. the employees were friendly, though they ignored any constructive criticism. I mean fall the duck was much too salty (probably forget to rinse the salt before cooking). one should say that the crab cakes were good and the wee were as expected.
We had not expected that we would enjoy eating, as there was very little on the menu that called us. after a free taste we had a very pleasant evening. the staff was great and eating was surprisingly good.
The restaurant is dissapointing. The broccoli tart was just a microwaved slice of quiche perhaps lunch menu left over. The service forget to take our coats and when asked we received a look of indignance. It explains why it was virtually empty of a Suturday night. I will not be returning.
We have visited the restaurant for a French dinner and it delivered up to our expectations the food was good, with decent portions. eating was more of a gastro-pub quality (definitiw not michelin played flat,) but for the price and combined a good service it still represents an excellent value.
