A fairly new restaurant for Brighouse and something a little different. The food here is wonderful, the menu has something for everyone. The surroundings are very nice indeed but expect to pay for it.
Brighouse needed a bit more variety, other than the italian restaurants that have been there for donkeys. Meze fills the gap its easy to find, central, nicely decorated in a contemporary style, food is very good and the atmosphere pretty good too. Specially on a sat night when the belly dancer arrives at invites/forces a few male punters to join in. I guess people dont mind if they've had a few, but it's better if you're female and get to just laugh from your seat. Staff are brilliant, great with children, although don't expect to understand everything they say. The food is good but I think the menu needs a bit more choice. If you're not a huge meat lover (I only really like chicken), its a bit limited. I always seem to end up with the same thing. If you have young children, don't go for the kids menu. The portions are ridiculously huge and over-facing. We just get hummus for our daughter then give her some of our mains, since the first time we went. Keep an eye on prices, we have just called in for a mid week tea before and ended up with a bill. Bit steep for little old Brighouse, me thinks. Overall, it's good though, we probably go every couple of months with family, mates or just the two of us. PS. The house white wine is gross.
Forgive the title, it was the best pun I could find late at night.Meze is a Turkish/Greek restaurant with a large ranging menu. The food was glorious, but the price reflected it and then some!Service was spot-on, I couldn't have asked for better, the service charge added to the bill covers that.Have a look at the website for the full menu and pictures. It's a nicely decorated restaurant, really happy, friendly staff. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Beware though, the toilets are tiny and if you're more than about six years old you'll struggle to get into them!We arrived at on a Saturday night, without a reservtion and were sat immediately, (but how busy it is when the Rugby World Cup final isn't on I'm not sure). We couldn't ask for better service or food, my chicken and my partners salmon were both cooked to perfection. Meza is well worth a visit, but at for two course meals it's a little bit steep for this area. Christmas Day is only extra.
I absolutely adore this restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. You can just unwind and enjoy your meal without any worries. Don't forget to try the Greek dishes in Brighouse. And the best part is, you can enjoy a two-course meal for only £10, with options available on weekdays and Sundays. Highly recommend checking it out.
