Charlie's Pizza - Bridgewater

We stopped in for a quick 'n easy meal, double bacon cheeseburger and single plain cheeseburger, and two large fries. We didn't think to check the prices given it was such a simple meal, so imagine our shock when we saw the bill for $24+. One large fries is enough for two adults with leftovers, so keep that in mind. They were the nice home style fries you often get at a chip wagon in a peat dish, although a bit soggy. $3.99 for a large that'll modestly feed a family of four is pretty good.The double burger ... what a mess. Bacon was good, I'll give them that. The patties are large, thick and compacted for a very filling bite. It would've been a very dry beef, but luckily they smothered it in ketchup and mustard to the point where you can't even taste the meat. Thankfully the bacon was still palatable. Should you wish to try the burgers, be sure to ask them to go easy on the condiments.We will not be trying the burgers again primarily due to the prices. Yes, pub prices for burger and fries are comparable, but this is a road side restaurant with much poorer quality and presentation. The prices should reflect what you get and in this case the difference is staggering.

Stopped in a quick bite to eat. Friendly family ownership - complete with the young boy helping out and having conversation with the customers. Pizza and fish and chips menu. Lots of local traffic. Support the local eatery. Drop by and enjoy.

I have ordered from Charlie's on many occasions over the years. The service and food has been good. The last time I ordered, their delivery man was extremely rude. I asked him a questions about my order, and with great impatience he told me that he would take the order back if I didn't want it. I am not sure how a question turned into his rudeness and taking back my order. He upset me very much and there was no need. To make matters worse, he had the smell of alcohol on his breath. Having worked for the liquor corporation. It was part of my job to make sure that anyone who was drinking didn't purchase alcohol. I do know the smell of it on someones breath and it was on his. He was rude, impatient and in a general bad mood that day and he took it out on me. after he said he would take the order back twice I said go ahead and we ordered from another pizza store in town. So I was upset, and my family had to wait for another delivery. A very unhappy and disrespected customer here. I contacted Charlies and I spoke with a woman who assured me she would speak to the manager. I never heard back from anyone regarding this incident. As I mentioned earlier. My previous experiences with Charlies has been good and this was just a bad one from the rest. However that is all that it takes to lose a customer. I have since ordered for pizza, but not from Charlies.

Charlie's has the best pizza in Bridgewater. They do a great job with staffing.... Everyone is always friendly and happy to wait on you.
