Best Little Oarhouse in Nova Scotia

I will definitely remember to order the "Christa" burger next time (just lettuce, ketchup, and pickles, right?) This was my first time trying the fish and it was excellent. The fish was very fresh, with a nice batter and a generous portion. It was busier during dinner time compared to our first visit, but the staff made sure everyone was satisfied with their order. With two of our three kids with us, they opted for the signature burger and were not disappointed. Keep up the good work RD, you have a great thing going here!

All I can say is that I love burgers and the burgers here are great tasting!! Great food!! The menu is slowly expanding and I hope the business does well!!

We read an article in the local paper about Best Little Oarhouse in Nova Scotia and just had to try it.My wife and I decided on the fish and chip meal and the shrimp meal. With drink it came to about $35 with taxes. The portions were fair and very tasty. While waiting for the meal I was talking to the owner. Very friendly and seems to enjoy his job. Nice to see for a change.He makes almost everything in house from his own recipes. Including many of the sauces and condiments.When we go back we will have to try the fish tacos and probably one of his signature burgers. We saw one at a neighbours table and it looked good.The only real drawback is that there is very little parking. On a nice day get a takeout meal and find a nice place to park along the river.
