Santosha Barbados - Bridgetown

Great anwesen along the east coast of barbados, only on the road of soup bowls. if they are looking for a quiet place full of character and with self-contained options like a kitchen, this would be high my list. a car is a must if you stay here, but that drive around the island is easy and this property is good the extra few minutes travel time to get away from the poor and chaos of the city! the rooms are spacious with a large balcony and a large kitchen, which are easy to prep and simply to enjoy before the place. the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and they will feel at home from the minute they arrive.

Great place, we had the luxury of being there during the “rainy” season. We did experience a 10min light shower during our weeklong stay. Beyond that, it was all sunshine, relaxation and beauty. The pool is well maintained and enjoyable Walkers beach and the mill nearby provide with ample opportunities to walk during the day, with an uninterrupted trek all the way down to Bathsheba available for the more adventurous ones. The service was top notch and both managers were very attentive and caring The room was spacious and clean, and well equipped for cooking. The ac was welcome and kept us nice and cozy Great stay!

Love the ambiance, the quietness the fresh air will definitely be going again soon. Having breakfast with a view like this.... smiles

Such a wonderful idyllic place with stunning views of the mountains and the ocean.

One needs to be adventurous to stay here. The drive from the airport in the dark, on windy, twisty, hilly and narrow rough roads with jaw shaking potholes using right hand drive was “exciting”. A car rental is a necessity. The hotel itself was very quiet after the family with kids moved out the next day. Often no more than two or three other guests. Hotel was clean but a little run down. Maid service is not daily but we were able to get clean sheets and towels by asking. The address is spot on. It was breezy the week we stayed but it did cool us off so breakfast and dinners on The balcony were pleasant. Found the beach with the help of a local. A short walk for the hotel. It was not suitable for swimming or sun bathing but good for long walks. Be prepared to make your own meals or to drive up to 20 to 30 minutes to dine out. We came prepared and so weren’t disappointed.
