La Fogata - Bridgeport

This restaurant is conveniently located just around the corner from me, which is a major advantage. I had a craving for nachos and chose to skip my usual spot on Main Street. The nachos here at Fogata are also $2 cheaper, which is a nice perk. When I visited, the place was empty, so the service was quick and friendly. The nachos were fantastic! I regretted not eating them right away when I got home, but I’ll definitely make sure to do that next time. I ordered nachos loaded with everything: Pico de Gallo, shredded cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, and beans (no meat). They even topped it off with Parmesan cheese and avocado! I wish there had been cheese sauce, but it was still delicious. I can’t wait to return. You should definitely give this place a try!

The tripe soup was average, but the flat tacos were a good value. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience!

When our food arrived, it was cold! (I understand this isn’t the driver's fault.) The chips for the nachos were so burned that they were inedible. I ordered rice and beans on the side and was charged $3.50 for hardly four teaspoons of beans! I won't be ordering from here again unless the restaurant can resolve these issues!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, and the outstanding customer service played a big role in that. The food is exceptional and has a delightful homemade flavor. The cozy ambiance and charming decor really enhance the dining experience. I absolutely love it!

I ordered quesadillas and a torta, but I was very disappointed. The meat had a stale taste and an off-putting smell.
