East Main Fish And Chips - Bridgeport

This restaurant is definitely a "you get what you pay for" kind of place. My family recommended I try it out, but I wish I never did. The appearance and location of the restaurant should have been a red flag from the start. While the portions are decent for the price, the quality is lacking. All the seafood is clearly frozen and heavily battered. I had a clam strip in the car on the way home and hoped it was just a fluke, but unfortunately, all of them were mostly batter. Each piece of the seafood platter was just batter with a hint of clam or scallop flavor. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

My Lil gem of the east side. I came upon this place one afternoon been coming eversince. the seafood combo 12.99 lunch special. Can't beat it. Big portion to share. Not greasy. Cooked fresh to order. Also love the jalapeño poppers!Parking: Off street parking.
