China Star - Bridgeport

This is a fantastic spot for Chinese takeout, conveniently located just a few minutes from the King of Prussia mall. They accept credit cards, including Amex and Discover, as long as your order is over $8; otherwise, there’s a 50¢ surcharge. The vegetables are fresh, and there's no extra charge for shrimp compared to other protein options. During the weekdays, they offer a lunch menu—definitely try item number 32—for under $8, which includes a free soda and fried rice, with a generous portion of about 1 pint. I absolutely love their curry shrimp, though it's only available in quart sizes!

I recommend finding another restaurant; this place is ridiculous. The level of ignorance here is astounding. I simply asked for ketchup, and the staff treated it as if I had requested something outrageous!

I narrowly avoided a potential lawsuit and a trip to the hospital. Fortunately, I noticed something unusual and managed to pull it out of my mouth before swallowing—a staple that ended up in my food. Just fantastic...

Pleased ! Looks like this will be our go to Chinese take out spot. My bf and I just moved to this area and of course we needed to find a good Chinese take out place. This place is right down the street so we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be ordering from here again. China Star is my go to take out spot when I'm at work. The staff is friendly and the restaurant does a swift business. Tonight I ordered the shrimp and broccoli combination platter. I enjoyed the pork fried rice which was full of diced pork, onion, carrot and peas. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. I was pleased to find five of them packed into the container. The broccoli was lightly cooked and still had a crispness when bitten. The sauce was light and not overpowering. The egg roll was fine I've seen larger (that's what she said). It was fried lightly and the cabbage inside was crisp. The portion size was huge almost enough food for two. And I got a free can of soda.
