Bereket Turkish - Bridgeport

I used to frequent this restaurant when I lived on Woodmont Ave 17 years ago. It was always one of my favorite places to go. The food was always delicious and the older gentleman was always friendly.Being that I was in the area today, I decided to go give it a try after all this time. The food is still excellent, the employees are all extremely friendly and helpful, but the restaurant looks even better than before. They now have tables in a quaint dining room where you can be served and eat your meal like most restaurants.It used to be 5 stars, but I just wish I could have given the place a 6 star rating as everything that made this place so special is still there, but now with a dining room and what appears to be a larger menu. I'm the future, I'll make sure to take the half hour drive to come here more often.If you like Turkish food and you're in the area, come here! You won't be disappointed!

What an amazing place! I never knew this place existed until our friends brought us here. The food was simply amazing! The restaurant is a small nondescript place you probably wouldn’t even notice. Once you come inside and smell what is cooking you are hooked. Honestly, I do not know the names of what was ordered because our friend did all the ordering. It was so good! I know we had lamb, chicken and beef. We also had a delicious salad and a plate of different types of hummus. The food was insanely flavorful! We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

So so good. Amazing food. Highly recommend. We ordered take out and it’s amazing. Cannot wait to come and dine in.
