My husband and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant during the middle of the week to celebrate one of his achievements. We arrived early and were seated promptly. We shared the steak platter, which came with chips, onion rings, garlic bread, peppercorn sauce, and garlic butter sauce. It was absolutely delicious! The food arrived at our table in about 10 minutes, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is cozy and charming, and although it's small in the front, I believe they have additional seating out the back. There is also free parking nearby. For dessert, we tried the honeycomb cheesecake, which was good but not the best I've had. It didn't detract from the overall experience though. The service was quick and attentive. We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend trying this restaurant. The cost for the steak platter with sides and sauces was £58, with additional sides priced at £3.50 each, and desserts at £5.50 each. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5. Our recommended dishes include the peppercorn sauce, steak platter, honeycomb cheesecake, cheesy garlic bread, and onion rings. The total cost per person for a meal here is between £30-40.
