Worst Chinese I have ever had! Extremely disappointed. Completely over priced, small portions and the curry sauce was like eating cigarette ends. Will not be returning!

Paid nearly £11 for crispy beef and chips… how it took less than two minutes to prepare? Because the beef was chewy, the chips were terrible, and the sauce was 99%sugar and 1% red dye…. Been coming here for three decades on and off due to the convenience… no longer, thats the last… you have been warned

Had a takeaway from Godfreys for the first time in years, and was truly disappointed, ordered special chow mein which the most expensive one I have ever bought, not much meat and very salty, have paid less elsewhere and had much better quality, also ordered sweet sour pork, pork in batter with separate sauce, there was hardly any meat as it was just like crispy pieces of batter but did manage to find a couple of pieces of meat which were tiny which matched the portion size. Would never go back and would definitely not recommend. Even Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask when he robbed you.

This is now our go to Chinese. Phone order through arrange a time food is always ready freshly cooked and piping hot. All staff we have come in contact with are very polite and pleasant. They only take cash but there is an A.T.M next door. There is a wide selection on the menu and we have never had a bad meal from there.

Good is usually excellent. Was full of salt this time absolutely awful. When I called to make the manager aware just to take on some feedback. He said I wanted a freebie???? Absolutely disgusting food and disgusting service. Unfortunate
