Le Carpe Diem - Briançon

Our first visit for nearly 2 years (due to pandemic) and the rebranding, new menu and food were all superb. Excellent atmosphere with very attentive and friendly staff and managed exquisitely by expert host, Herve. Would definitely recommend to all our visitors and friends as a must-not-miss restaurant experience for Briancon.

This place is apparently under new management and the result is quite convincing. Large menu efficiently served in both a large inside room and two terraces on a small pedestrian street. The offer is essentially the same as in many restaurants in the area, with a large section of traditional mountain dishes but also offers a few other options, albeit still in the classical register. Good products, large portions and reasonable prices. A good address.

A real pleasure to have eaten in this restaurant. Hervé is welcoming and warm, the service teams are as much. The rumlette to Morbier “ raw milk” recommended by Hervé’s friend has all satisfied us even if my companions have not had the energy to finish their plates. Genepi's little glass offered at the end of my friend Chloé's meal, but we'll be there soon. Thanks again for this moment
