Cedar Breaks - Brian Head

Very, very expensive with little to no atmosphere. We walked in for dinner in October,2022, and my wife and I were the only ones in the place except for an elderly couple. Like having dinner in a mausoleum. The chef didn't even bother to come out and ask how we liked our meal.

NEW 30 Dollars for a cork fee on a 10 dollar bottle of wine is a ripoff! My wife had one glass. It's not the waitresses fault. It's the Managers!

Terrible experience. We called ahead and asked how late they were open and told 9 pm. We drove 45 min with our children and arrived just before 8pm and were told they could no longer seat us and we could only do carry out. When we called nothing about this was relayed to us. We explained we had just driven over 45 min and didn 't have anywhere to go to 'carry out '. We were fine if the service took longer but we 'd really like a table. The dining room had many tables filled and several open. We were told no and the girl should not be working in the service industry. She was flat out rude and obnoxious. We said fine and placed our order since at this time we had no other options. Upon receiving our bill they then added gratuity. We were obviously very angry at this point and asked what we were paying gratuity for? They told us it was their services. Uhmmm I don 't pay gratuity to have my kids eat dinner in the cold parking lot. The manager refused to do anything for us. Then we got out and realized our order was wrong, they didn 't give us part of it and gave us the wrong burger on another. We were beyond frustrated. We drove 45 min to eat dinner that wasn 't what we ordered and ate in a cold parking lot AND was FORCED to tip on top. I went in and complained to the front desk who then told me the restaurant is a third party and they have no control. We stayed here about a year ago and had several problems at this hotel. After this last experience, I will never stay or eat here again.

So bad. Not a lot of options nearby but this was mediocre at best. The food was not much better than basic bar food at a premium price. Service was friendly but not very accommodating, especially for a large party in an empty restaurant.

They no longer offer any vegan options except for salad. It sounds like they used to offer some good choices but not anymore. Very disappointing.
