Chalet Castello - BRESCIA

Nice spot just at the foot of the castle. If TA had a rating of Good, then this would sum it up quite well. Better than an average snack bar or want to be English pub, but not in the very good category. Its not a resturant as such, it serves panini's and bar snacks. Reasonable seating, service OK, but all German beers, which was a shame. Seating inside and out, although it was raining when we visited so outdoors was not an option as there was no covering outside, and you can't see the castle from there just the roundabout, road and a few trees. We had two Pinini's from the list, and again, they were average very salty and little taste. Staff were OK and efficient, Good Location.

The place is no more no less than what you can expect of a snackbar but the location was really pleasant: just in front of the entry of the fortress, it offers a pleasant view and the shade of the trees offered a pleasant shelter on a sunny day. The staff could speak English.

A nice bar with friendly staff pitched close to the castle in Brescia. Airy outside tables are diligently served for cocktails and snacks at a reasonable price and there is a lovely view over the old city.

Great view, better service than last year, wide availability of parking and possibility to visit the castle with convenience. cocktails are poor enough, however the offer of amari is wide and the prices are adequate in place.

Very kind service, very nice place, from the tables on the outside you see all breeze from the top and, if you can get it with time, sunset!
