Wang's Kitchen - Brentwood

This is currently my favorite Chinese food restaurant. They offer both General Tso shrimp and chicken with snow peas on their menu, which can be hard to find. Their dumplings are particularly good, not just simple breakfast sausage wrapped in dough like some other places. The sauce is decent, but I've had better elsewhere. With Lotus Garden no longer around, this is the place to order your sweet and sour chicken, just make sure to ask for it extra crispy to avoid it being soggy upon arrival.

I visited this restaurant in 2015 and gave it a 3/5 rating for food quality. In my recent visit in 2020, I rated it 3/5 for cleanliness/Covid-safety and found the taste to be just average. My family of 4 had dinner here and the price was very reasonable at around $30. The portions were generous, but we didn't have any leftovers. The food quality and taste have improved since 2015, but I was disappointed to see that the kitchen staff were not wearing masks properly. The restaurant has made changes to the front entry, only allowing customers to stand in the doorway and receive their food through a window. I appreciated these precautions, especially seeing that the staff handling my payment was wearing his mask correctly. I would suggest bringing your own pen to sign the check, as they only had one pen that may not have been appropriately sanitized between customers.

I have ordered delivery from Wang's quite a few times now. They are always on time, sometimes early. I have been trying different items from the menu but I just love their vegetable egg rolls! We just recently ordered on Christmas Eve and got a few different apps to share. No complaints from anyone.

This Chinese delivery in the south hills is the best. Period. You won't convince me otherwise.

The best combination lo mein and steamed dumplings!! It is always so hot when I get it and I always have plenty of left overs.
