Vittles - Brentwood

The fried chicken sandwich is absolutely delicious! I also really enjoyed the okra and fried green tomatoes, paired with some refreshing fruit tea. It's a fantastic spot for authentic Southern cuisine!

I tried the turkey and dressing lunch special. It was a bit of a mixed experience. The turkey seemed to be processed rather than freshly carved. The cornbread was a bit hard, but still had a nice flavor. The green beans were overly salty. On the positive side, the fried okra was excellent, and the mashed potatoes were quite good as well. The desserts were enjoyable, and the service was commendable. However, the lunch was a bit pricey—totaling $40 including tip.

I took a friend out for lunch during the workweek and we were promptly welcomed and seated by a window. I ordered the salmon while my friend chose a salad. Both dishes were delicious, with the salmon cooked to perfection. My water glass was constantly refilled, and the service overall was excellent! I highly recommend this place. We recently were looking for a new breakfast spot and remembered seeing Vittles has a weekend buffet. We stopped by on a Saturday about 30 minutes before it was over. We were very pleased with the food. The omelet bar was so good and there was plenty of everything left. The bacon was very good along with the biscuits and gravy! The price point and service were spot on. Our new go-to spot on the weekends!

OMG I can't say enough good. They came to my job this morning for breakfast until our new people come permanently. I think Vittles should be our new food people permanently. I had an Omelette with cheese, onions, bell peppers and spinach, bacon and watermelon, they did an amazing job and the guy was incredibly nice. I can't wait to bring my family to eat there one day.
