Tamale Lovers - Brentwood

If you ever meet someone who doesn't like Tamales because they are always dry and tasteless, bring them here. These tamales are so moist and tasty. I had the mild chicken, mild pig and spicy pig. Everything delicious, but the spicy is spicy (she warned me).

I've eaten twice here and both times the fools were brilliant. (almost as good as the tamale truck! For the first time I had a chicken tamale and for the last time I tried the Poblano and cheese tamales with their freshly made hot sauce. As a hot sauce aficionado I can honestly say the TL hot sauce was some of the best I ever tasted, spicy with a hint of wood smoke (as it was cooked on a barbecue). The ladies who ran things were pleasant and greeted me with smiles and menu suggestions. Pleasant experience and good value.

WOW! Best tamales I have ever had. Rivals my aunt's homemade. The tamale bowl was perfect: tamale w salad beans and rice. Refreshing.

Absolutely delicious! The sweet corn and poblano cheeses are from this world! The beans are almost that big!
