J T's On Brownsville Inc - Brentwood

JT's is the real deal. A proper neighborhood diner with tons of charm. Last weekend I took my sister there for lunch on Saturday. I had the fried bologna sandwich that also had Islam's Chip Chopped Ham on it. It was insaneley good, with fresh grilled banna peppers and melted cheese. It was such a supremely Pittsburgh sandwich that the fries/coleslaw brothers would have blushed. I also had a bowl of the lentil soup, which was so flavorful it was definitely homemade. Lunch was so good, I went back with a friend for breakfast the next day and had a mixed grill breakfast dish with spicey sausage. It was amazing. And we shared some potato pancakes that were veryy tasty with excellent soft in the middle texture. This is a must stop when you're in Brentwood.

Great food, very friendly staff and friendly hands-on owners. Lots of food for inexpensive prices. Open for breakfast and lunch. A must!
