Hartz Chicken Buffet - Brenham

I frequently visit this restaurant with my parents. The food is straightforward yet delicious. It also boasts the most diverse clientele in the city.

We have the buffet as it is the best choice and everything was absolutely cold!!!!! Those of you who claimed the food is excellently clear have no taste buds!!!!!

Family of 4 very enjoyed this buffet. To save money and prevent Wet, we ordered a combination for our two little boys because they are not big eaters. Spouse and I ordered buffet. Everything was great. They had fish, salad, tender, baked chicken, bread and a variety of fruits. I ate a lot and was very satisfied. I didn't like how to go to ask busy cash registers for new plates every time we went for more food at the buffet. The service was not too good in that the checkout seemed not welcome or informed about menu or prices. I would eat here often if not for customer service.

Dinner was moderate. It was a buffet. Very bland food, tarter sauce was strange, they had something sweet in it. You also have to label what a few things I had no idea what it was.

Great fried fish and fried chicken! They have fried livers, gizzards, baked chicken, vegetables, a small salad bar and more. The desserts, bread pudding and peach cobbler were not good at all. I wish they had Pico De Gallo on the buffet line. They have been good about keeping hot food on the buffet line and the service is good. They have soft ice cream but now you have to ask for it instead of self-serve. So all thing considered really good for an inexpensive buffet.
