Wirtshaus - Bremen

We had a decent time at Wirtshaus. Unfortunately they served us meat based Bremer Knipp , although we had obviously ordered the vegan variant. Since it turned out this dish was not available anymore, we got some cauliflower instead that was just ok but lacking any proteins. The staff was very friendly and tried their best to give us a good time nonetheless. All in all not sure if I would come back here. It 's a decent place but there are other better restaurants out there.

This is a rustic German restaurant close to Bremen‘s Viertel. There is a vegan chili on the menu plus several changing meals that are written on a blackboard in the restaurant. My husband chose the ratatouille and I had the vegan tarte. It was topped with a little vegan cheese, but mostly with sweet potato, rucola and capsicums. Both meals were filling and very tasty. Service was very friendly. The meals were a little on the expensive side, though. I do recommend this place if you are looking for a comfy, no nonsense restaurant that offers hearty food!

We were there on 3.09.20 shortly after half ten to three, we were kindly received. But according to our question whether there is anything to eat, it was first answered with a no. But the host seemed like me, it wouldn't be a problem that we still have something to eat. And I have to say the food and the atmosphere in the restaurant were very good. And the waiter or host was very accommodating. If we're back in Bremen, we want to go back to this restaurant.

I'm a big fan of the innkeeper. Even after the collection/delivery, it is still appetizing and not weakened. The service is great!
